I recently got back from the Denver Burger Battle, and I thought I’d give a quick visual overview of what you can expect from the Sacramento Burger Battle this September 18 at Raley Field.

The Sacramento Burger Battle is basically going to be like a charity wine tasting event or a craft beer tasting fundraising event, but WITH burgers. You’ll get to walk around on the infield of Raley Field going from restaurant booth to restaurant booth trying samples of their burgers while live music plays in the background. AND you’ll also get the craft beer, cider and wine tasting to pair with it.

You arrive at the field in anticipation of the great food that is to come!

As you walk onto the field, you hear the music playing and you see the smiles of the fellow burger lovers around you and you just know you’re in for a good time!

We’ll be right on the infield at Raley Field.

The smells of amazing burgers greet you as you walk up to the first restaurant’s booth:

And you’re on your way to trying your first burger sample of the night!

The chefs and restaurant staff are preparing the burgers fresh for you right on the spot

Looking around, you see hundreds of people enjoying some great food for a great cause!

As you make your way from restaurant booth to booth, you get to try some fun and classic burger creations from some of the areas best restaurants.

You’ll get a live performance from an awesome local band (Hero’s Last Mission)

And after you’ve had your fill of burgers, you get to cast your vote for your favorite burger to help decide the People’s Choice Best Burger Award.

The official panel of judges will also be doing blind tastings of each burger to award the Judged Best Burger award.

But wait, there’s more!  DESSERTS!

DRINKS!

RAFFLE PRIZES!

And at the end of the night, there are 2 winners crowned! The Judged Winner and the People’s Choice Winner

And a few days later, all the proceeds from the ticket sales get donated to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America charity to help them with important research and patient programs.

Thanks to your ticket purchases (that include all the food/drinks/raffle ticket/music and free parking), the generous donations of time, talent and food resources from our participating restaurants and chefs, and the support of our sponsors, we can make this an event to remember!

Showcasing Sacramento’s local dining scene and helping an important cause. This is why I’m putting this all together.

Get your ticket today (only 800 will be sold) and be a part of a new September tradition in Sacramento :)
